Our fundraising plan
We are trusting completely that while we work, our faithful Father will provide the increase... we trust His provision for every detail of this process, including the funding. We anticipate the whole process to bring our children home will cost very close to $40,000-- and we know that when God calls us to something, He equips us for it. We certainly don't have the means to do this without His provision!
Adoption T-shirts
We are taking orders for our adoption t-shirts:
$12 each for children's sizes and adults through XL; $15 each for XXL and up. Shirts will come in either burnt orange, taupe or dark chocolate, all with cream print. If you would like a t-shirt, please donate with our "ChipIn" button and comment at check-out your color choice, quantity and sizes needed. Shirts will be delivered upon receipt, so if we don't know you personally, please leave your address at check-out, too.
Flea Market / Yard Sale
If you can't purchase anything right now, perhaps you have time to give? On Saturday, March 31 from 8a-4p, we're hosting a Flea Market style YARD SALE at Fern Creek Christian Church that will be open to the public. All proceeds-- every penny!-- benefit our adoption fund. Before the event, during, and after, we're needing lots of hands to make it all work.
How can you help with the Flea Market/Yard Sale?
**Spread the word! Share the date with everyone you know!
**Come shop on the 31st! Hidden treasures abound! (Furniture, electronics, exercise equipment, housewares, books, clothing, toys... you name it, we've likely got it for sale!)
**Donations needed: clothing, housewares, furniture, toys, etc. We can pick up (let me know when) or you can bring to Fern Creek Christian Church Thursday night 3/29 or Friday all day 3/30
**Donations of hangers, zip ties, baggies, safety pins, etc. and racks for hanging clothing
**Strong hands and pick-up trucks for hauling items from our home to our church building on Thursday night, Mar 29 (meet at our house at 6:45p)
**People to help sort, organize and tag items at our church building on Friday, Mar 30 from 8a til we're finished
**People to help sell, direct, communicate and help with event sales (from 7am Sat. morning until 4p)
**People to help "break down" and clean up / haul un-sold items back to our home Sat at 4pm
I'm overwhelmed by all of you who have already reached out to us! THANK YOU!! Truly, Ephesians 3:20-21 is our life: "With God's power working in us, God can do much, much more than anything we can ask or imagine.
